nut and bridge question

Really depends on how wide your fretboard is at the nut/ at the bridge. did you measure the nut you had before to try and match it up?

oh so i should be fine then, its a nut i had previosly bought for another bass but ended up having one made of ebony, but i have another custom on the way so i figured id use it along with a hipshot a style 6 string at .708mm i must be over thinking
