Hey guys, quick Q.
How snugly should a string fit into a nut slot?
For my low E, I changed from a 105 to a 110. Had to take the 110, and slide it back and forth a little to get it seated.
Now I'm back to 105s, and of course, the 105 doesnt fit QUITE as snug as the 110. Not floppin' around in the slot, but not super tight like the 110.
Will this be OK? willl if affect intonation at all, or sustain?
Any answers would be very helpful. thanks.
