Okay... I was filing down the top of the stock nut on my Brice 6 string (the nut was too tall) when I stopped and realized that I might as well see if I can't find a better nut than the soft plastic one that came with it. Is there anyplace that sells nuts (blanks or pre-slotted) for 6 string basses? I did see that Warmoth had some, but I wanted to know if anyone else knew where I could get a Tusq, Bone, Micarta or Delrin nut blank (or, if I'm really lucky, one that is pre-slotted).
