Nylon Bridge Saddles - Keep or Upgrade?

Sign in to disble this ad
I just picked up a Gibson EB-3L, and I'm going through my regular process of cleaning it and setting it up to my specs.

The bridge has nylon saddles. I'm debating if I'll gain anything by upgrading to metal saddles (see pic) - Would that ruin the "vibe" of the bass? Honestly, I'm suprised how well the bass intonated and kept sutain on such a shotty bridge...

Worth the upgrade, or leave as is?
