Odd noise?

I think its the bridge on my bass.

I know what fret buzz sounds like and whenever I hit the G string I get a funny whirring buzz kinda noise. I place it down near the bridge.

Its a 57 RI P-bass.

I just got this thing set up too. I have dead spots on the A string on the 14th and 15th frets, as well as a slight neck bow. Blah........

If you just had it set-up, bring it back and make them fix it for free...if you trust them enough to do so....otherwise, sounds like a bad set-up.

Its only on the G string, and unlike the others, the rod dealie on the saddle is flat against the base of the bridge, so I'm assuming thats whats causing the phantom buzz. This setup sucked, I got dead spots on the A string, frets 12-16 as well.

I'm kinda poor so blah!

Not a clue. And unfortunately, Leo decided to be thoughtful and require me to take the neck off everytime I want to adjust it.
