OLP MM3 Set-up Woes

Sign in to disble this ad
Hi all,

I've been trying to lower the action on my near new OLP MM3, I've followed the how-to guides and yet I still can't get the action any lower without buzz. I've got it set fairly low atm, but still higher than i like and I'm getting bad buzz when i fret the 7th and 9th frets on all strings (worst on the E and A).

There is still a bit of relief in the neck so I could straighten it a little further, but its very difficult to even get an 1/8th turn.

Does anyone have any ideas as to what i am doing wrong, or do i need to send the bass in to have the frets checked?

thanks all

No other replies? I'd get a pro to look at it. Sorry I'm not more helpful.
