One buzz in one place in one situation.

I have a '02 MIM P. It has a single buzz that occurs only when I play the High C/17th fret on the G string and an open A together. The buzz is on the G string behind the fretted note. Obviously, I can mute the buzz with a finger behind the fretted note in some situations, but if I land on the C with my index there's no efficient way to mute. I would like to get rid of this buzz all together. Hit me with some solutions.

I hate messing with string height/action if one doesn't have to, but sometimes you do. Have you tried raising your G string up just a hair? It's easy to do such a bridge adjustment, along with resetting the intonation on the string once you make the tweak. It might help.
