online store for fender bridges/tuning machines

Sign in to disble this ad
I'm having trouble locating either a Gotoh 201 or Schaller 2000bridge and don't want to shell out for a Badass II (although I found a site with new, pre-slotted saddles for a reasonable price)

I'm also looking for lightweight tuning machines, hipshot doesn't seem to have anything to fit.

Can someone point me in A direction to find these things?

Thanks

www.guitarpartsresource.com although they don't carry the Gotoh bridge, which you can get at www.warmoth.com

Try www.stewmac.com for the Gotoh bidge, lower price!

Not the same bridge. The 201 is a heavier duty.

Thanks so far, how about finding some lightweight tuning machines for standard Fender 9/16 peg holes???

This is proving more difficult than I would expect. I'll have to do some physics but I'm guessing taking 1/2 pound off the headstock will make a drastic improvement to the balance (eliminate holding the headstock off the floor)

Hipshot ultralight cloverleaf style will work. I have them on my bass. You can find them at www.guitarpartsresource.com or www.stewmac.com.

I found replacement Fender tuners at www.guitarden.com. Don't know if they have what you want but they had what I wanted about a year ago.
