optimum stingray pickup height???

i know it's too high, but does anyone know what the optimum height is? like what it comes out of the factory with.

What it comes out of the factory as isnt nessicarily optimum.

Maybe best to play about and find whats best for you? Someone who slap/pops or plays the thing really hard would want the pickup lower down than say someone who plays very soft finger style

"The factory specifications for the pickup height is 6/32" or 4.76mm from the top of the plastic between the pickup covers to the bottom of the G string. The angle of the pickup is set fairly level, so the larger strings are naturally a bit closer."

I do the 6/32" under the G and 7/32" under the E, similar to the Fender "slant" and it helps with the volume on the G.
