and i'm wanting replacement knobs for my 98 p-bass. do not have the bass by me, but they have two different knobs, one is for 6mm shafts, the other is 1/4" shaft. which do i get?

and also, anyone have any experience with their pickguards? like/dislike?

good luck, can't really help you about your first question.

but their pickguards are decent; i replaced the white guard on my midnight wine mim p with a StewMac 3-ply black. fits pretty tightly and is up to par with the stock guard in terms of quality. comes with some shielding tape underneath as well.

I have a stew-mac tort guard on my fretless. Quality is just fine; fits great. My only complaint is it's more brown-orange than I'd like which is not a fault of theirs in the least.

pickguards, do not want.

didnt have neck adjustment slot for p-bass. was an extremely tight fit, and looked warped in one area where it was able to fit a friggen heavy pick into the slot.

oh well, going back...like it with white more anyway.
