Paint to cover small imperfections on a poly finish

Sign in to disble this ad
On my bass I have very small cosmetic imperfections, where the wood of the body is showing (in the neck pocket, an near the pickup route). Which type of paint is best to cover them ? I thought about using acrylic paint, since it seems durable and is shiny when dried. Do you have any suggestions ?

Thanks !

ReRanch makes a touch up pen for many of the Fender colors.
