Painting My bass...colour choice?

Sign in to disble this ad
Ok, I have a bass that I'm stripping down and painting, blahblahblah... normal stuff. My grandpa sent me a pic of a guitar he painted, and I love the blue/white thing he has going on here...but not the black.

Any people have an idea of what color would be good for me to substitute for the black?

Black, I think that looks pretty sweet the way it is.

Furthermore, I've seen some bursts in colors other than black, and in most cases, it just doesn't translate as nicely as black does.

Yeah, I don't MIND the black, I was just wondering if there were any options that wouldn't look terrible.

I'll either stick with black, or if something awesome comes to mind...

you don't have to add the black burst around the edge - just make the whole thing blue/white if you wish. Or use a dark blue for 'burst instead of black. IMO light colors don't look that great as 'bursts.
