Painting and Restoration...

I have a Vintage 1985 Hamer Scarab bass, that I want to have restored. It needs a paint job, and new pickups/electronics. I have called and e-mailed numerous places here in NJ and the Philadelphia area, BUT NO ONE IS RETURNING MY CALLS OR EMAILS! I guess they don't need my money. So can any of you recommend anyone to do the job???
