Part Time Builders that will mod another bass?

Anybody know any part time builders out there who will mod an existing bass? At a minimum, I'm looking for a superb cavity/wiring job on a bass. Depending on pricing, it could be more. [new pickups, etc.]

Know anyone out there doing things like that - well - as a part time business?

You don't need a builder for that. There are guitar technicians who do good to excellent electronics and shielding work all over NY. Look up "guitar repair" in your city.
