Parts to modify with.....

Sign in to disble this ad
Ok, I have a couple of basses I want to upgrade / modify. Parts are all over the place, some inexpensive, some not cheap.

Is there a place that is the "talkbass" favorite for necks, bodies, pickups, tuners, bridges, pickguards ect.......

I'm pretty sure the answer is no. I do have a few suppliers that I frequent but no one company stands above the others IMO. Check out All Parts, Stewart MacDonald, GC or Musicians friend (I am not a fan of GC for parts). Use the web to look there are lots of suppliers but these are the biggest I am aware of.

If you know what you are looking for then Ebay or Craigs List are good places to get parts, however these are places to get new and used parts so deals can be had but buyer beware... do your homework. Safe shopping on Ebay requires a Pay Pal account. Craigs List is for person to person one on one sales cash only, so know what you are buying and meet in a public place to close the deal.
