Parts for a Peavey T-20

Sign in to disble this ad
Hey all,

So i just recieved a T20 that i ordered... but it does not have the original Vol/Tone knobs and it has crappy tuners (the G tuner is even poking out over the headstock

I know Peavey doesn't make this stuff any more, but what would be a good replacement or upgrade, specifically for the tuners?

...looks like i'm gonna have to shell out $40 for the original knobs though.

Thanks!

I think I remember someone saying they're Grover Titans or something like that. There's a bunch of T-series parts on eBay right now, including tuners and knobs.

I'd get in touch with Chip Todd..

Last time I was at his place, he still had bins and bins of parts for pretty much everything he designed.

Was this recent? I visited him at his place last year, shortly after he moved.

And yup, I've got contact info in my old phone.. I'll PM it to you later tonight.

Yeah he retired and moved away months ago. Ebay is your best bet for old Peavey parts.

Chip used to have a private website devoted to gutiars he worked on and gunsmithing.

I can't find it --- he may have pulled the plug.
