Are the neck dimensions the same on these basses?

I'm trying to pull together a Foundation project and it seems there are more t-40 necks available than Foundation ones.

Foundation necks are thinner than Fender sized necks I believe, is that true with the T-40 as well?

No. T40 necks are much closer to Pbass sized than Jazz sized. Think of them being at least as wide but thinner front to back than most P necks.

Yes but you could probably buy an entire Foundation for the price of a T-40 neck.

And yeah, they're very different. The T-40's necks are much thicker than the Foundations.

The foundation is also 21 fret while the T-40 is 20. You could use a Fury, a Dyna-Bass,a T-45, a Forum or a patriot neck for a foundation . They are all 21 fret. The patriot and T-45 are shaped more like a flattened p-bass neck. The other's are more like a jazz neck.
