Philtone: Luthier in Baltimore. What a guy!

Hi folks,
For those of you in need of a good luthier, I would wholeheartedly recommend Phil Jacoby of Philtone. I took my new AVRI 62 P Bass to him to have it shielded. The guy not only did a wonderful job, but his advice, willingness to let me hang out and reasonable rates (VERY reasonable - for the quality of the guy's work) made for a great experience.

I have had some bad experiences in the past with luthiers (or those who profess to be), so I feel obliged to share when I come across a good guy! Check him out folks. His respect for your instrument and the care he takes is second to none.

Ant

Is this guy actually a luthier? Or just a quality tech?

Cool, he went to Roberto-Venn (right down the street from me!). I may have to contact him about a custom neck build.
