Im not sure if this should go here or somewhere else, so move it if necessary.

Ive got a fender precision thats midnight wine colored with a white pick guard. it looks real nice but id like a little change, however, i cant think of a good color to go with the midnight wine. Do you guys have any recommendations? maybe even some pictures of basses that color with different pick gaurds or anything? thanks

Vintage pearloid would look great, just go to WD or Warmouth websites and checkout all the colors....maybe red pearloid would look good too! Have fun!

Tort on a red bass just looks like someone barfed on it, don't do it!

Go with black or white pearl.

I went with the black pearl myself. I was really happy with the look considering my hardware is chrome and black. Then I put on red coated roundwounds to complete the look.

im making my own out of 3 ply oak its not hard, along this line a wood pickguard would be cool or the anodized gold.

Black and wine. Best combo ever.
