Pick scratch removal. What works?

Sign in to disble this ad
I have an Epiphone Viola with superficial pick scratches and belt rash. Has anyone had any luck using a polishing compound-type product to restore their bass's finish?

And that would be "luck" both good and bad.
Knowing what to avoid can be more valuable than knowing what works!

Another vote for Scratch-X. I use it on my car all the time, which is considerably more valuable than my bass.
