Pickgaurd help

Sign in to disble this ad
I am having trouble finding a pickgaurd for my '09 Mexican P bass special. It's active so it's a 4 knob. No truss rod cut-out. The screw holes line up with the mexicans. I can find the mexican pickgaurds but they they are not a 4 knob. And on the American p bass active models the control knobs dont look like they are spaced the same as mine. And those have the truss rod cut out. I would like to find a tortoise shell if possible.

Do you presently have a pickguard that fits? If so you can easily get a replacement copy in any color you like including Tort. Talk to Tony at

www.pickguardian.com

If you don't have one to copy talk to Tony anyway. I"m sure he can help you out but it will cost more if he doesn't have a template (or an actual guard to copy) for your bass.

I bought a number of pickguards there for my SX basses. Including some Tort ones. And let me tell you even though a custom guard costs a bit more, when you see your bass with a new Tort guard on it, you are gonna LOVE it. I know I did!

Nope, don't work for Tony, just a happy customer.
