I have a 2007 Fender Deluxe American Precision Bass, sunburst, off-white pickguard, rosewood neck. I am thinking of changing out the pickguard for something different, and I have two questions. One, what color do you guys think would be cool? I was thinking maybe going with black, but I also have a black Stingray so I feel like they might end up looking too similar... Any suggestions? My second question is what pickguard I need exactly, and what online store sells them. It seems like it needs to actually be made for the Deluxe Precision or else it won't have enough knob slots. Is this true? I tried looking at Fender site but none of the big online retailers seem to have them. Does anyone know where I can get them?

The bass looks like that but has a rosewood neck. Apparently these must be rare or something because I could not find a picture of one anywhere that didn't have a maple neck!
