Pickguard for a MIM Precision

I've wanted to go for the "Roger Waters" look for a long time on my MIM precision. However I have a question regarding the pickguard. (Which is all I'm hoping to do).

Do all 'replacement' pickguards which claim to fit Fenders in general, fit 2009 MIM's? Do the Mexican Fenders have different size pickguards compared to their American brothers?

fender replacement pickguards will fit american and mexican standards exactly.

Hiya,

I got a few from this place for my MIM P recently, the fit was great and they are shielded at the pot location. A side note the pot holes seem to be drilled to a metric size, I had to pass a 3/8" drill through to get my solid shaft pots to fit.
