How could you fit a pickguard on there with that really thin lower horn?

Why do you want a pickguard on it?
IMHO, that body shape would look really stupid with a pickguard on it. Unless maybe you meant something entirely outside of the traditional P bass pickguard style?

But the Dinky J has a bigger horns on it, and a regular J pickguard is a pretty close fit. With the Dinky P, it would have to be a pretty thin sliver of plastic to fit down in that horn.
