Pickup cover on a Squire P-Bass Special?
 

I recently acquired a Squire P-Bass special from a close friend and I want to change all the chrome hardware to black. I also wanted to add a pickup cover to give it somewhat of a jazz look. Would I have to use a neck and a bridge cover since I have two pickups? Would it even look good with the squire? Am I making a mistake changing everything on it, because my friend told me that it was a 20 year old bass all stock when he gave it to me except the pots had to be changed once. Opinions please?
