Pickup height on a Spector?

I have a Rebop with EMG 40P/J pups and I was wondering how high the pups should be set. Checked on Spector's site and I couldn't find any info. Are there any general rules of thumb or anything like that?

They're pretty far down there, but then the bass is in dire need of a setup, which I'll be doing in a day or two. Carl at Lakland did a setup video for the Lakland Owners Club and gave all of the measurements for pup and string height, neck relief, etc... Are those fairly transferable to most basses?

Check EMG's site.

EMG's are supposed to be pretty close to the stroing.
