Pickups... Vibrating?

Sign in to disble this ad
I'm playing an SX LTD, and I've had no problems to this day, however over the past few days as I've been practicing, I've been hearing this strange buzzing noise. I think it was a problem with my bridge at first, so I unplugged it and started playing, but I heard it again. Today I discovered that if I push down on the pickup a bit, the sound disappears, so I'm guessing the vibrations are just carrying through the body and causing it to move.

What's the best way to go about fixing this? Could it be that the height adjustment screws are a bit loose?

Eliminate the springs altogether; they're too weak anyways. I use 1/2'" thick medium density foam rubber under each pickup.
