Pimping a samick

Sign in to disble this ad
I recently got my hands on a free Samick CR 15 5-string. It's less than impressive but the body looks nice. I was thinking about replacing all the stock items except the body. New pickups, neck, bridge, strings, knobs etc and maybe a new paintjob. Do you think this is worth doing or would it be a waste of money? Also, if anyone knows anything about this bass would be helpful, there's not much out there, I especially need to know what kind of neck would fit on it. Thanks.

if you have a better bass then there isnt much point in moddig this one, you shoul mod the best bass you have(unless it is already a killer bass)
if you dont have other bass, i think is always a good idea to mod first, then upgrade to a diferent bass
