Oh yes, I apologize. I just figured it out. This bass is fine! I set the badass bridge to basically the same specifications and settings that my previous bridge had on it when I purchased it. Still, I do plan to learn how to do a set up. I purchased Guitar Player Repair Guide, and it has yet to arrive at my doorstep. I'm hopeful!

I think you can find all the information about learning to do your own setups right here at this forum. It's really not that hard or complicated, but can seem a bit scary at first.

Important thing is to make small changes at first, and note any changes.

For instance, let's say you want to lower the action on all of your strings. You'd start at the saddles, and lower each individual saddle at a time. Count the exact number of turns for each screw you adjust. Do the same amount on each string. Keep retuning the instrument, checking the action. Listen for buzzes or problems. If you don't like the action that low, at least you know exactly how to put it back just like it was before you started adjusting.

You'll probably find that your own setups will be just as good if not better than the ones you have to pay good money for.

Mag...
