POLY ON FRETTLESS FB IS ROUGH. NOT SMOOTH TO SLIDE.

Hello all. I recently pollied my ibanez sr506. it came out really nice. However, is it normal that it is hard to slide? It just doesnt flow. The neck is level and all i an not talking that. Just seems as if the poly gives it a surface that is hard for sliding. Any thoughts i appreciate. thanks

Sand the finish smooth with a radius block, then wetsand to bring up the shine if you want gloss.
