Is this possible?

Hey

Sometimes a bass can become, well in Denmark we call it "fret-false" (what is that in English?), where say the tone on an open string doesn't match the octave at the 12th fret.
I think my bass has got it - but only on the E-string? Is that possible? I can hear, that the 12th fret isn't quite in tune, and my tuner thinks the same
What do I do about that?

You need to set the intonation on your bass. This is done by moving the saddles on the bridge either towards or away from the neck in order to achieve proper intonation. The link below give you the instructions (in English) for performing a full setup on your bass:

it's not rocket science.
if you can read a tuner and turn a screwdriver, you can do it.

If I can do it, so can you. Read the instructions a few times, then try it for yourself. It's very easy.
