Is it possible...

To "smoke" a chrome finish? If so, who can do it?

You can do it - but it would be with paint.

Check out some car enthusiast forums - they are smoking and blacking chrome all the time. They use something called Dupi-Color most of the time.

I would look into the "Alsa Killer Chrome" (it is ground metallic pigment and can do some pretty cool stuff)

Once you treat it, I'm not sure about the durability - but it must be pretty good if these guys are using it on car rims, etc...

I just got the May Warwick newsletter and they just came out with an amazing chrome finish think it said it took something like 30+ steps
