Possibly need to re-setup

I had my lakland 55-02 setup to employ the use of a high C, how ever today i just bought a new set of strings with a low B and was wondering if i have to make any adjustments to the truss rod or bridge. The Bass Centre set it up so i dont know how much was done. Or do i just have to put one string at a time whilst leaving the older ones so the neck adjusts it self

There will be a difference in tension between the two sets of strings. That will affect the amount of relief in the neck. It may be a little or a lot. You may need to do a set up. Or you may be happy with the way it plays. There will be no decisions to make until the strings are changed.

both the bridge and truss rod will require tweaking for changing strings with different gauges. The tension will increase with a low B as opposed to the high C so that's why the truss rod needs to adjust relief. Then with the strings in a different arrangement the intonation needs to be reset and the string heighth at the bridge may also need adjusting.

I too used to just from High C to low B and back again, but it was just too much of a pain to keep setting up my bass. I guess that's why I have two 6 strings and a fiver now.

Good luck
