| If they're labeled "for solid shaft" they're not press-fit, but use the set screw to hold them to the shaft of the pot. You MIGHT be able to carefully put them on the split-shaft pot and tighten the screw into the space of the shaft. OR you can put a small piece of hard wood into the slot of the split to keep the shaft from compressing when you tighten the screw. If you just put them on and tighten the screw, then you'll probably compress one side of the split, and break the shaft.
"Genuine Fender Parts" doesn't really mean much any more. They're not machining their own knobs and they're frequently buying them from the same people that folks like All Parts etc. use.
