Question Pro Setup Twin Cities

Sign in to disble this ad
I recently bought a new Warwick Corvette Std.
I found it easy enough to adjust the bridge, and it plays well, but I am wondering about getting it really dialed in by a pro.

Anyone know where I could take it in Minneapolis/St Paul?

Thanks,

I used to go to a vintage shop in St Paul.... can't remember the name of it now but they did a good job on the Spector I had at the time. Sorry I can't remember the name of the shop.

I've never heard of "Twin Cities Guitars". Could you mean Andrew Bell at Twin Town maybe?

Yeah I meant Andrew Bell, sorry it's been a little while since I was calling on him.

I take my stuff to Leonard Shapiro. He is over on University just about at the border of Mpls and St. Paul. His shop is in this big rehearsal space building. He does all my set up and repair work. I think a set up is 30-35 bucks plus strings (he has D'addario on hand, or bring your own).

I wouldn't hesitate to use Willie's either. Their stuff on the sales floor is always well set up.

Another vote for Leonard Shapiro, he does great work. I recommend him highly. I don't know who does the set-ups for Willie's but Leonard used to do all their repair work. He is a Fender "Gold" certified tech.
