problem

My bass has suddenyl developed a rattle, and the weird thing is, it only seems to happen when the bass is touching me if you like.

Say if i put my bass upright hold the top of the neck and play its fine, but if the body is in contact with me it rattles, only seems to be at the bridge pick up as well not so much the neck...

Any ideas

Yeah, I was thinking loose strap-lock components maybe?

Maybe be way off base but I had a truss rod rattle once. Slight bit of adjustment and it went away. Slight tap or knock on back of neck and you could hear it rattle.
