and i was wodnering if anyone knows where i can get a professional

finish anywhere in northern VA.

The autobody shops might put paint on for you but they aren't going to do the pre-prep needed to get ready for painting. The materials and techniques needed for this are all specific to wood. And yes, the body MUST be prepped before painting.
