PU cover on Fender Jazz V

Hi, I have an American Deluxe Jazz bass V.
Can I put Fender's standard metal chrome PU cover on the neck pickup or it's too small for the 5 string PU?

They do exist, I had a bass with one on it, you gotta dig through the specialty parts to find them but the 5 string p/u covers do exist.

Get the Marcus Miller cover. I think it's available at basspartsresource.com. There is one for the 5 string, IIRC.
