Pulling the frets off my bass...

I have pulled the frets off of my electric bass trying to do what Jaco did with his bass. What would be the best way to apply the apoxey to the fret board?

Do a search for defretting there are a ton of posts about it already.

Short answer is fret pullers from stew mac.
