Putting Hipshot Xtenderz on my Bass(es)

Sign in to disble this ad
Im considering putting some hipshot xtenders on a couple of my basses, but I see so many to choose from on their website.

Any suggestions on what ones to buy for each bass?

The Basses I want to put them on are:

Ibanez BTB450QM

and an Aria IGB-40 (Probably havent even heard of them)

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I think the ibanez would have the mini sealed ones like the GB-7... you'd have to check your bass and make sure.

Those were the ones I was looking at for it, but I wasnt sure just because of the vast amount of options they have.

It might be a waste of time but you can email Hipshot from their website. You might get an answer but don't hold your breath.

Also. Make sure you ask for an EXACT replacement. Their current website shows the BT1 as the extender of choice for MIM instruments but the mounting holes are different. Apparently their idea of a replacement machine includes "almost" fit tolerances.

(Please excuse me if you've already tried this rather obvious tack.)
