So, recently I was removing my dunlop straplocks from my bass because they just weren't workin for me. The bottom one came out just fine, but the top.. well it snapped in half and marked up the bass. So I just want opinions on how my "fixed" bass looks with the original strap knobs.
Each mark was about 1mm deep (the original hole was 1cm), so I filed down whatever part of the screw was still sticking out since it was so well set I couldn't remove it, filled everything with wood putty, and painted it with high gloss black paint explaining why the strap knob are offset by about a mm.
