My action seems rather high to me so I'd like your thoughts about it. I cant find a ruler to measure relief so sorry for the inconvenience.

The first picture is the action at the twelfth fret and the second is at the 20th.

The bass is a Classic Vibe 60s Jazz.

Thank you.

It is higher than average but thats how i like it. It allows you to get more punch and dynamics.

It doesn't bother me too much but it just seems like it could be lower. I keep getting buzz around the 5th and 7th fret if its any lower no matter how much truss rod tweaking. I think the frets need to be leveled.

Action and relief work together. You mentioned both, but posted and asked only about action. See the sticky at the top of the forum on how to do setups.

Ive got my CV Jazz action at 2mm on the E string and slightly lower on the G (12th fret to bottom of string).
I also shimmed the neck so it doesnt go any higher beyond the 12th fret.
It might be worth looking in to doing that to keep the action more horizontal along the neck.

one of my basses is at 1 cm, and the other at a half of one.

higher action means stronger fingers and faster time on the lower actions to me, aka im lazy about repairs

also OP your action looks f'n great
