Thats really just a problem with the bass. It comes with having a 34" scale 5 string. Some 34's have a pretty decent tension, others not so much. There isn't a whole lot you can do,maybe buy a heavier gauge B string.

I have the same bass. Sounds like you need a complete setup: Neck Relief, Pickup height, string height, and intonation. Once I got all of these corrected, floppy B String and fret buzz disappeared. Keep in mind your technique and style of play may make getting the perfect setup for every situation challenging, e.g. going form slap to fingerstyle. I hope it works out, because the RBX 765 is a great instrument.

Pay a good tech to do it,or learn yourself. Fret buzz could also be due to uneven fret height.

I have one and absolutely love it. For the very affordable price tag, it's a killer bass!

The neck on that bass is a 1-piece Maple neck. Because of that, I think neck stability over time is hit or miss. Mine has been all sorts of stable. Other slabs of Maple may not be so solid over time.

I agree, and unless you have a bit of experience setting up your own instruments, it would probably be best to find a good tech/luthier to set up the RBX for you as 5string5fingers suggests; even if you get a set of measurements from someone else whose RBX765 is set up well.

If the setup doesn't improve how floppy the B-string is, you might consider looking into another string brand for the B. I've heard from some fairly accomplished luthiers that the key to getting a tight-feeling B-string is just finding the right brand/gauge. A few guys vouch that they even have 32" scale basses with really tight B-strings. You could even call a few strings manufacturers and get their input on how to cure a floppy B.
