RBX375 Owners, Can you help me?

Sign in to disble this ad
Hey guys I own a RBX375, it’s awesome, the sound it’s great. The problem it’s the following:
Several people have complained about the bass eating out the batteries, I never had that problem until one of the battery cables got dewelded (unwelded?) I didn’t know where it went so I tried several places and end up soldering it in the volume pot chassis. After this the bass started eating out the battery even when it’s unplugged. So what I want if it’s possible for you it’s to have a picture of the circuit in the bass, especially of the black cable of the battery.
Sorry for the long post.
Thank you in advance

ok, there is alot going on in there, so these might not do any good.

My guess is that what you soldered to the pot should be soldered to the jack, just a thought.

Thanks.

Thank you Spudmaster34 for your reply. I soldered the wire to the jack and the bass gave sound . I left the battery on it, tomorrow I´ll see if it works.
If the battery still has charge everything will be fine.

Well it worked. I soldered the cable in the jack, and everything it´s working fine. MY guess is that the circuit closes when the plug is connected, and where I had soldered the cable kept the circuit closed all the time.
Thank you Spudmaster34.
