Recommend me a UK setup guru!!

I bought my bass off the net a couple of months ago and have done a basic setup using the guides here (first attempt!!).

Took it into my local guitar shop for a pro setup, only to be told that I'd done a good job and they couldn't improve on it (by a guitarist NOT a bassist).

I am certain that it can be improved - it's a bit rattley without being ultra low. I mentioned this, only to be told to see what its like once its been played in (it was bought new) - I've been playing it for at least an hour a day for two months, how much playing in does it need

As it's only a budget Jackson, I am sure it would benefit from a fret dress, but how can I be sure?

I know its a bit far away from you, but if you're ever in the smoke check out the bass gallery in Camden. I've never heard a bad thing said about their set ups or repairs and I've personally been extremely happy everytime I've got a bass back from them.

Howards Bass Place in Newcastle will do a good job, Pete and Howard have set up thousands of basses in their time.
