recommend a neck for my geddy body

please read this post for info on my next project.

as money is tight i'm looking for recommendations on a replacement neck....i'd either like something resembling a geddy neck (my fave jazz maple neck) or in keeping with the stealth concept of the bass something in the style of an aerodyne (black headstock, black fb, no dots)

can anyone advise? replacement fender? ebay? third party company? what jazz necks rock your world that i might like and fit my geddy body?

I know there is an aerodyne neck or two on ebay right now. Don't know how cheap they will be though. I think you could probably order a neck from Warmoth meeting those specs for a couple of hundred. You would have to finish it though. Check Warmoth's e-store. Sometimes there are deals to be had.

Lug, thank you for the rondo link i've heard great things about thir agile les pauls, but the sx brand is unknown to me....they seem to be loved around here. can anyone chime in with a review of their jazz necks? will it fit my geddy?

I seem to remember someone putting a Fender neck on an SX but have no idea if that's reversazble w/o a bit of work. SX's are mainly loved for their price, they are just an average entry level bass otherwise.

Thanks, i emailed rondo and the neck is out of stock till jan, thats why its not on the site. so i have until then to gather opinions and reviews on it.

I put an AllParts neck that I found on eBay on my MIM body and couldn't be happier.
