Thinking about changing the black pickguard on my Brice Ash 5 string. Can someone recommend a company/individual that can make one based on a tracing or cut out template? Also, what do you think would look cool with that body? Tortoise shell, white pearloid?

You might try these guys, I ordered a black pearloid one for my Geddy, should have it in a couple of weeks.

http://pickguards.us/

or these guys sound pretty good too,

http://www.terrapinguitars.com/ but I've no experience with them.

either way they'll both be able to help with what you want.

Since this is repair/modification oriented, I recommend asking it in the Setup forum. Moved.

if its like the SX basses, then the pickguard too large.

Someone here melted a bit of his pickguard to get it to fit, I don't recommend taking that route.
