So I love my Lakeland JO5 Skyline! I love it! I want to use it as my main bass but it is currently a fretless. It was originally fretted but a previous owner had the frets removed. It has the fret lines and dots on the board. Frets filled in but board was not coated. I need to take it to someone in New York who can cut new slots and do fretwork. I checked a previous post about New York luthiers and I called IMAI. He could not do it or refer me to anyone. There were another couple of places mentioned in the post but before I start calling I wanted to check for any suggestions? Thanks!
