when adjusting/measuring relief on a 5 string ,do i take the measurement from bottom of the B string or E string or ? ,shooting for .015 @ 8/9th fret.(the bass is lakland) any info would be great.thanks.
Neck relief is measured with a straightedge. (I use installed strings fretted at both ends.) So, unless there's a weird bump in the neck, you can use any string.
