removing sticker inlays

Has anyone had experience removing sticker inlays? I have a project bass that i am working on, and want to remove the inlays that are already glued on the neck.
Can anyone recommend something for safely removing the inlays?

slip a thin blade knife (X-acto) under the corner to lift it and then pull it off.
They are thin and go on nice and flat, but they are not as difficult to remove as you think.

Cool thanks. There is a bit of glue on the neck as well. Anything I can use to get that off without damaging the neck?
